In December 2012, Jeremy served as New York City’s Telecommunications Expert for the Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency (SIRR) which was created to develop a more resilient New York City in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, with a long-term focus on preparing for and protecting against the impacts of climate change.

A final report, released in June 2013, presented actionable recommendations for both rebuilding the communities impacted by Sandy and increasing the resilience of infrastructure and buildings citywide.

Jeremy’s chapter was the genesis for Link 5G program which has been operating through New York City since 2015.
